It comes with a convenient cord for hanging around your neck, in case you're going to use it as a stop watch at sporting events.The size did surprise me when I opened the box. I didn't really expect it to be as large as it is, but that could play either way. It had a large screen, easy to carry and had a lot of functions (i.e. lap, split, countdown).I bought mainly for the countdown feature- to time myself during exercising. The first couple of weeks were really satisfying. I loved this watch. Then, one of the days going for the run in the morning, the watch started beeping and showing 88:88. It was so annoying. I could not stop the beeping until I opened the back with a screwdriver and removed the battery. Needing a countdown watch, later I went to the supermarket in my town and bough TAYLOR kitchenwatch- which has none of the problems above. I suggest you don't buy this item, because it's made cheap in China ( no offense) - which is not obvious from the picture, but clear when you touch the product. If you are looking for a countdown watch- go to the nearest supermarket- Walmart,etc. and just buy a kitchen watch...
